I am somewhat happy today, actually. I survived a practice mile run, presenting my DOSE project, presenting my fashion line, and Sex Ed, so really, I'm a total survivor. I almost threw up after the mile, and I know I spat blood, but other than that I was OK. I feel fine now, which is good because I have to attend my fencing class in half an hour. I do foil, in case you were wondering. Badly, but there you have it. I also kept a straight face through my LA teacher's sermon on plagiarism, and I have memorized an alarming amount of HG2G radio series. Go me!

I had SOOOOOOOOO much homework over this weekend-it was like rolling a snowball up an aardvark's philtrum. I had to make a posterboard for my spring fashion line for my fashion class, which took up a lot of time because everything had to be juxtapositioned uber-carefully, spray-adhesived-on, then arranged, taken note of, and made to fit in. After which I had to check that I had finished all of the requirements, and that the poster was colorful, polished, professional, useful and creative. Planning the show is awful, bureacratic, in-the-bottom-of-a-locked-filing-cabinet-stuck-in-a-disused-lavatory-with-a-sign-on-the-door-saying-beware-of-the-leopard drudge work because the sports teams keep commandeering the dates we pick and the play people refuse to move their backdrops so that we can work on the stage in a constructive manner. Oh yes, did I mention that this is student-produced, and the one girl, who is uber-theater-kid, keeps insulting me, cutting me off when I attempt to suggest an idea, and pushing her big fat schnozz into everything? Sorry. Got a little carried away there. I also finished the book we're reading for LA, which was major suckosis (the girlfriend keeps calling the main character 'pineapple' where other people would say 'darling') and I had about 75 math problems to do. Tricky ones as well, the kind that are big and green with lots of teeth and fiddly bits, and annoying switches from metric to customary. Customary is so over, people. So over. In addition to this, I had to make a study guide for my partner, who is as thick as a brick (note reference to Jethro Tull), on Che Guevara. This infamous cretin, my partner, didn't even know who Che Guevara was, nor did he recognize the work of Andy Warhol when, frustrated, I struck him in the face with it. But no matter, most of that work is dead, gone, and away. Oh yes-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELASSE-ADAEL!

Tomorrow is the Day of Silence, in support of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer students, so I thought I'd get a post in before that happens. Not much is going on around here-I'm overworked and breaking my diet, and I think I am going to die of stress in a few months, but aside from that, nothing's going on.
Rather boring, actually. Riots in Nepal seem rather promising-there's been unrest for a long time and now it seems like it's finally come to a head. Something's going to happen!

It's a Saturday night, my parents are out on my date, my sister is at a dance, and I am at home reading Megatokyo and Heinlein and drinking Ting. I am such a loser. Scum of the Earth. I mean, I should really get a move on. I feel like Piro without a job or Seraphim. Sigh. I should really get a life, grow up, finish school, get a job, and do something more dynamic. What talents do I have? Chopsticks don't count. I can unwrap a Starburst with my tongue, and I have memorized all the old Star Trek episodes, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Zazie in the Metro, and Road Warrior. And I speak three languages and can dance in eighteen subcultures. What am I doing sitting here on a Saturday night? I was even ditched by my MOTHER and my OWN SISTER for the day. I've been alone for hours. And hours. Sheesh. B4K4.
You know what someone should do? DDR in a mosh pit. 'Mosh Mosh Revolution.' With punk music, and cooler graphics. I think it would be wonderful.

Which FF Character Are You?
My favorite character! Skiddy dense!
"Walking in the wild west end...walking with your wild best friend..." so on and so forth. Lazy, dull, humdrum day here on Earth. I did get a rather nice KISS skirt yesterday, and spent some time looking through old photos from when I was a tiny.

Another boring weekend on Earth, one of my least favorite planets. Should be a fairly busy weekend. I get to wear all my spring clothes, though, and the weather is so good I can sleep with a window open. It rained last night, a really big storm that was awesome to listen too. I woke up early, even though I was tired and up late last night, and I feel refreshed.
Have you ever wondered why the Lockhorns stay married? Why won't they divorce? I think there's something wrong with them. Psychologically. I mean, if you obviously hate your spouse's guts, why don't you divorce?
Maybe it doesn't matter. Still a little upsetting, though.

Mucked about today. In science we went from biology to meteorology. Ugh. Earth just sucks. Do I want to learn about its atmosphere? Nooo. I don't think so, thank you very much. We also had an assembly from the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) which was no place for cynics like me. The theme of it was "Let's all get along." It was so funny. In a non-traditional way. I didn't understand how it was supposed to help us at all. So there you have it. Also today, I rocked a vocabulary contest out of its orbit. I pwned. Dramatically, truly, and completely. Ahh. Not only did I do that, I beat every single kid in the entire class. Yes, you heard me. Every single kid. It was like that Megatokyo strip where Piro totally goes way into his shallow end at gaming and all his friends are totally shocked out of their skulls. Mwahahaha. Hey, it's my first language, I get to do that.
In other news, Anthony is now on my fecal roster, next to Chad, Bo, and Jack. Incidentally, Tom Lehrer's birthday was Saturday. So it's National Brotherhood Week.

It's my dream Gaia avatar. Isn't it just adorable? Dot made it up for me. Though the pearls were my idea. Heh heh heh. Unfortunately, Gaia is a v. hard game to make any sort of money in. Oh well. I'll figure it out later.

I have a biology final on Monday, but it is open-note and my hands hurt from writing down all those piddly little notes on leukocytes, osmosis, and peristalsis. Earthlings, my friend, are weird. Not that I don't like human beings. It's only that they're-well, they're-very strange. To put it lightly. All that stuff with the Greeks and the pyramids and the sticking the worms on hooks in front of ponds-what did the worms ever do to you, may I ask?

|Damn fine job!|
|You are obviously a well spoken, intelligent individual. You only missed from 20 to 11 words. You're definitely a cut above the majority. You almost certainly have a college degree and if you don't, you probably will do soon. You have a little room for improvement so take this opportunity to look up a few of the words you weren't sure about. Go to dictionary.com and take a gander. I'll bet if you try the test again you'll do better. Don't forget to try out part 2 of this test If English is not your first language and you are overseas, then please immigrate to the US immediately so you can teach our kids how to speak properly. Don't forget to rate the test. |
